A couple of my friends have touted the benefits of ‘The Health Chair‘. One of these guys never makes such recommendations until now. They are too pricey for me but it does look very comfortable and promising. 
I spend way too much time on my butt usually at the computer or practicing musical instruments. So my back has gotten weaker than I like to admit.
I am struck with how beautiful this chair is. It is almost like a sculpture. And like the fellow who gives a testimonial on the site, I’ve spent a lot on chairs including the rubber ball that you can sit on.
I was schlepping an organ down to the music studio and I got another hernia. Fortunately it is small so it can probably wait until after the Second Story Rep gig is over in November, and the holiday gigs in December, and…
Well, I have my annual check-up in January so that’s when I’ll probably have the surgery.

Since we are new friends..I am just now reading what you have in your profile. I am thrilled that you play an instrument. I loved reading all your "axes"!!! I have a mix of music at home. Classical has a faint edge over hard rock in my collection. If someone said chose or else :-) I would keep the classical.I blogged the other day about having gone to see a pop concert with Natalie Cole this time, singing with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. I got to hear them as well in an hour of classical pieces. It was a joy!I’m writing too much for a comment. Sorry. 😉
Well, please be careful with the hernia! Really enjoyed your recent comments and think I would like to get a clock like that. We do have a phone that tells us who is calling…but I can’t always understand it…and have to come and check the caller I.D. and don’t have to pick up if we don’t want. I like the idea of being able to see the phone number from across the room.

That chair does look like it would be good for the back. One of the best investments we made was purchasing a good chair at the computer desk. We went with a Canadian company Lacasse, was pretty pricey (to my standards for a office chair) but well worth it! I never had back pain again from sitting at the computer.Hey be careful with that hernia! But married to a nurse I’m sure Suzy is keeping an eye on you. Take care and have a great weekend :-)
