I’ve been playing with the social software known as facebook.com. And I’ve decided I have a lot of friends here in the Windows Live Spaces world that I wish were on facebook. I learn so much about my friends there, but a lot of my best friends aren’t here. BYW I felt the same way about MySpace.com.
There is at least one down side, that once people get to know you they might not want to be associated with you anymore. But that winnowing process could be helpful in the long run. :o)

I have enough trouble keeping up with LivesSpaces… and a few dear friends on WordPress. I tend to be conservative in my views… but am liberal in my appreciation of the qualities and individual attributes of others…whether they agree with me or not. It is interesting to learn other perspectives because it can broaden understanding. I like to know what people believe and why they believe it. I do however think I am entitled to my opinions… and have no problem letting people know what I believe and why. Our sites are a refection of us… and if people don’t like the us it reflects… I agree that the "winnowing process could be helpful in the long run". I enjoy visiting your site, Gandalfe, but if my being a conservative is a problem for you…please let me know…and I won’t intrude on you…even though I would be sad about losing the friendship.
Regards,
Beth
