This Conn Custom Soprano called the Dragon is gold plated and has exquisite engravings. There are so many fine instruments here, it will be interesting to see if anyone or any museum will go for this collection.

    It is indeed interesting to see what will happen here at the auction. My prediction: It will not sell at auction price. The collection will be pieced out.
     
    What I find amazing is that 5 of the 6 horns you can see the detailed pictures of, the exception being the C soprano, all look to be in amazing original condition. The C sop looks like a refinish. I’m basing this on the look of the pearls, but I could be wrong on that assessment I suppose.
