SWOJO: And now for something different…

Mom, sister Deb, brother Pete, Suzy and I went to hear Tina sitting in with the Seattle Women’s Jazz Orchestra (SWOJO) at Crossroads. Luv’d their stuff. So interesting. Here’s John Carisi’s "Israel" done by the SWOJO at Crossroads of Bellevue on a frosty autumn in ’09. See and hear more at swojo.org.

 

For those of you on my Facebook network, there is a cool Daniel Barry original done right by SWOJO called ‘La Folia Lando’. It was a minute longer than YouTube allows so I had to post it to Facebook.

    We should try it at our next Big Band gig. I finally could see the pianist and the rhythm section was all together.
