Just an itinerant saxophonist trying to find life between the changes. I have retired from the Corps of Engineers and Microsoft. I am an admin on the Woodwind Forum, run the Pacifica Big Band (formerly the Microsoft Jumpin' Jive Orchestra) and participate in other ensembles. Mostly enjoy time with family and friends.
I just love to see kids interested in things besides computers, computer games, and the television. I get the same warm fuzzy feeling when I see kids reading. At casa du Glassa bedtime always meant read or sleep. No hiding under the blankets with a flashlight like I did in the 60s. :O)
When the chess set is almost as big as the kids, the kids in comparison become cute beyond belief.
