FAQ: Windows Live Groups and Calendars

I have to show people were their groups and calendars are so many times, I thought I’d make an FAQ post and just point to it. Note, this fantastic calendar and group system is free. Also note in the menu below that you now can create Microsoft documents (Word, Excel, etc.) using the Microsoft Web release of those programs.

In Hotmail from the Office menu select ‘Your Groups’:

And calendars:

And here’s how I use Windows Live Calendars to track family and band events. Note I use jewels instead of text for many reoccurring events.

And here is a sample band group where I can send a quick update or setlist to the group alias. We also have recordings to practice against, pictures, rosters, etc.:
