I own ZERO saxes but have used a similar processe to acquire other instruments.

It’s uncanny. I use a mental version of this for ALL the types of instruments I play….4-,5-string, fretless (4&5) basses, guitars (Strat/LP/12-string electric, acoustic), pianos/organs (Yamaha CP, Kawai EP308, Hammonds, softsynths and MIDI controllers), trumpets/cornets/flugels, flutes….it’s an endless process and it’s a wonder I haven’t been murdered over it….yet….
