Amber is three and a half and sometimes she deigns to play her red recorder or the piano. So yesterday I took pictures. We were watching Amber because our daughter Josie had back surgery which we hope will both fix her and eliminate the pain she has been suffering with for almost two years.
See how sweet our granddaughter is at the same piano Suzy took lessons from in the sixties? By the way, this simple Lowery piano still is a great little instrument with solid intonation and good key action. Suzy’s parents picked very nicely when they purchased this instrument for Suzy.
Now, for the after pictures of Amber. She does show a wild streak I think you will agree. :o)
Well maybe if Amber doesn’t follow through with music she can go into acting. Truth be known, we are not fans of that line of work for family. We are not sure that is a career path that is very healthy.
This is day four of my extended vacation and so far it is going well. I’m not getting much done, but I do get to practice sax with Suzy, go out to visit friends and eat out more. And I did set up my sister’s new blog and help Peter with his. So all is not lost.
