I was grabbing a map for a new drummer so that he could attend our practice tomorrow and I chose Windows Live Map this time. Wow, has it improved; faster, slicker, and more intuitive to use, it will become my fav mapping web site for the time being. There’s my house:
Also new, this is the first of three mapping services (Google, MapQuest, and LiveMaps) to actually point to my house correctly. The other two services have been off by as much as a whole city block. Maybe it was a security thang? ;o)

Haha, they finally have a more recent photo for my house. At least it’s on there this time. The first time I checked they had a black and white from before the house was even built. This last one is from the mid 80’s- judging by the development of the property across the street. Can’t wait to see if they can update that one or not.
Oh THAT is good! I will definitely try it. They never get mine right. EVER. They show two. One near the street where I live and one in the woods..go figure.
Wow! I’ve never used that.
Looks like you live near the water – maybe you’ve said that an I forgot, r maybe that’s not water *laugh*
Oh, geez, Gandalfe – a peak performance then trying to recapture i t- sounds like a lot of marriages *laughingggggg* not ours of course…huhn.
Kathryn – I’m as close to water as a non-swimmer like me wants to be. Marriage is all about creating new peak performances. ;o)
Carol – This ones not only correct but much faster too.
Sue – This arial view is from the summer of 07 I think because my driveway addition isn’t shown.
Will have to check it out.
Is that Lake Washington or the Puget Sound? These things never get my house right, maybe because I live out in the boonies.
I have been meaning to check it out.
Elaine, it is Lake Sammamish bordering Redmond/Bellevue/Issaquah aka the east side. It’s like a three block walk for us and we can see much of the lake from the house which is nice. I keep threatening to create a Loch Sammamish (Sammy) monster, but then there’d be too many people visiting. ;o)
