Just an itinerant saxophonist trying to find life between the changes. I have retired from the Corps of Engineers and Microsoft. I am an admin on the Woodwind Forum, run the Pacifica Big Band (formerly the Microsoft Jumpin' Jive Orchestra) and participate in other ensembles. Mostly enjoy time with family and friends.

    Berlin, Germany is Scandinavia now… i hope they let the Germans know 😉 You will love Stockholm, it is really one of the most beautiful and funnest city in Europe – great weather in the summer too. Hope you will get to Riga too with the cruise – it is supposed to be the Paris of Eastern Europe. Tell us all about your adventures! There is no better way then getting lost to get to know a city.love, daphne

    You both will definitely have the time of your life.  Darling what a romantic setting, a delightful getaway make sure you both take the time to just explore. Wonderful simply wonderful.

    We aren’t actually doing the Germany part as we lived there for five years. As far as pet sitting, we are leaving that to the professionals a the Paradise Lodge, where we leave Shelby the German Shep. Boy is that gonna cost some change.

    How long is the cruise?  If I were younger, I’d beg to go.  But there is no way I could enjoy travel at this age.   So I’ll take care of the kitties and wish you well.  Hugs, Mom
