Lessee, I was still in the Army, a Captain at the time, we were living in Olympia, Suzy was studying to be a registered nurse and life was good.
About Gandalfe
Just an itinerant saxophonist trying to find life between the changes. I have retired from the Corps of Engineers and Microsoft. I am an admin on the Woodwind Forum, run the Pacifica Big Band (formerly the Microsoft Jumpin' Jive Orchestra) and participate in other ensembles. Mostly enjoy time with family and friends.
A really great picture!! You both look so happy.
Whose fireplace is that? The Olympia house didn’t have a fireplace. Look how young you guys were. Just babies, really.
I think we were at Vail. You remember the skiing trips don’t you. :o)
Great sweater!
In my opinion, and as they say here in these parts, you look just like yourselves. In other words, you really haven’t changed that much..neither of you. It was fun seeing this.
Love this! Love old pics – you look like you were having fun.
love, daphne
Two very beautiful people inside and out… Great Photo! Hugs Catherine
Hello Gandalfe…..
A lovely picture. Yes, autumn is truly lovely but must admit……summer is still my favorite. But I love cooking in the fall! Love making goulash and stews. I typically stay away from roasts, and roast chicken in the warm weather so now I can play. Some play on the sax, and some people play with food……although I sense you are pretty good in the kitchen as well. Take care and enjoy the fall weather. Bittersweet
