I Put a Spell On You

No Halloween would be complete without at least one playing of Jay Hawkins’ "I Put a Spell On You". Five bonus points to the first person who identifies the sax player in the band.  :o)

I have no idea who the saxophonist is.. hangs head for her absolute lack of knowledge and I may lose all credibility here… but I prefer the Better Midler version

    Hey Jim,

Oh I just loved this…I saw a documentary about Screamin’ Jay Hawkins a  few years ago in the Melbourne International Film Festival which was amazing, and I also heard a radio documentary about all of his (many, many) children… what an amazing guy and performer….and yep, I loved the sax player although I don’t know who he is…

Thanks to this I’m now searching YouTube for more…
