For all your Revolutionary Ideas ~ If the founding fathers used MS Word

You can bet that TJ, GW and gang would have loved having Microsoft Word when crafting the Declaration of Independence. Luckily you have it to capture your revolutionary ideas! See what it would’ve been like if Word was around in 1776.

Have a great weekend. Get out and hear some music.

  1. I wonder if it would have come out as well if it had been primarily committee work rather than primarily Jefferson’s work?

@Paul, you might be interested in Garry Wills’s book “Inventing America” [http://amzn.to/i1DXpi], which in effect is a line-by-line analysis of the Declaration, including antecedents, motivations, drafts, etc. Altho Jefferson was the primary author, there was plenty of input from others.
